So I watched Oprah yesterday and saw how disgusting our bodies can get it we don't take care of them. Dean Ornish was on and said that meditation is a key to good health. Well, I admit I have attempted meditation in the past. (Basically I listened to Enya and tried to contemplate the mysteries.) Weird, huh?
Anyway, after the show I was superstressed because my kids are into disassembling my house piece by piece. It was Friday, and I was ready for DADDY! When he arrived I said, I don't want to see them (the two banshees) or hear them until I am ready. I ran as fast as I could on the treadmill to some inspiring tunes by U2, etc. and then drove to Starbucks.
On the way to Starbucks, I thought to myself," Hmmmmmmmmmm... Meditation... Ornish said you could say 'Amen' if that affends your sensibilities less than OHM." So there I was in rush hour traffic, "Aaaaammmmmmmeeeeeeeeeeeeeennnnnnnn, Ammmmmennnnn... etc. " At first I felt great, then I realized "Hey I am driving, and I almost passed out!!!! Passed out from over oxygenation or something. I topped it off with a Toffee Nut Latte, ff no whip.
